Yang woke up, a headache seemingly splitting her head open as she groaned when she sat up in her bed. “What a strange dream…” she thought, holding a hand to her forehead. Chuckling to herself, she wondered if she should stop stealing Blake’s books to read on her off time. Incredible just how much smut one girl reads…

Yet, she heard something moving on the other side of the dorm. Turning her head she was met with her sister who looked awfully worried. “Um… Yang…? Did you have that weird dream too?” the not-so-little-anymore red riding hood asked sheepishly. Yang glanced around the room only to see the rest of her team already awake and all lost in thought. Yang felt a pit in her stomach form.

The team tried making heads or tails of the dream while getting ready for their day, as it was probably real considering it was shared amongst them. Before they started heading out, however, Yang’s scroll shook silently in her pocket, she had received a message.

While Weiss began nagging Ruby, the team somewhat returning to their status quo, Yang opened what was sent by a private number.

Name: Yang Xiao Long

Task: Win an arm wrestle against a man physically stronger than you in the next two hours.

Yang read the message, blinked twice, read the message again, and still couldn’t believe it.

It was then that Weiss poked Yang in the shoulder plate while shouting at the blonde brawler. “Helloooooo?! Earth to Yang? We have to go!” the Ice Queen made Yang come back to her senses. She realized Ruby and Blake had already left.

“Oh! Sorry Weiss! I was just reading a message that’s all. You know, from a friend. Oh right you don’t have those, huh?” Yang teased, trying to blow off any suspicion Weiss might’ve had. The heiress rolled her eyes and left, with Yang following suite.

During Ooblek’s fast paced lecture, Yang kept trying to think about anyone physically stronger than her. Sure, she wasn’t the strongest in all of Beacon Academy, but finding who wasn’t quite so easy. Her first thought went to Nora, but her being a woman disqualified her from Yang’s task. She tried and tried to think, but only one name came to her, as she had spotted some guys who looked quite buff, but had no idea where to find them. Added onto that, after Ooblek’s class, she only had one hour left. So the easy solution was… of course it had to be…
