Chapter 3 by Gambio Gambio

Pick something, you bitch

YOU ARE A DUMB BITCH!

Made you click, didn’t I?

This chapter is all about chapter titles. Many things from story title also applies here but there are some nuanced differences so you can’t skip this chapter, you indolent cunt.

I let you in on a little secret, most readers don’t care about your world building, they don’t care about your deep nuanced characters and they most certainly don’t care about your slow burn.

They care about the thing between their legs and how quickly they can jerk/jill it.

That means the vast, vast majority of readers will go ahead, open up the story map and shit all over your carefully crafted narrative just so that they can get to the spicy bits.

Readers are fucking assholes. Deal with it.

But, hey, the good news is you can turn these selfish fucks into obedient like farms as long as you get them hooked.

Sure, they might now skip everything to get to the sex, but once they got their fix of oxytocin and dopamine their tiny, little monkey brains crave so hard, they might just go back to the beginning and start reading properly.

Well, some of them will, the majority just dumps your story like a free use whore without even leaving as much as a tip.

Bottom line, chapter titles are very important too and you should write them in a way that hints at the content.

That doesn’t mean you need to spoil your novel for the two readers who actually bother to consume your story the way it was fucking intended but try to make the chapters that are spicy stand out as spicy.

Some readers just do control+F and search for sexy words(I would never do that, of course) so for example if your story has a focus on humiliation, it’s a good idea to include some variation of this in the chapter titles that are actually doing said humiliation.

Now, clever writers can take full advantage of that, by slowly making later chapter titles less descriptive and catching your potential readers in the early part of your story. I’m not sure a dum dum like you can pull that of however.

Some writers also just add a ♡ in chapters that have sex in it. Bit cringe if you ask me, but hey it’s an option.

What's next?
