She slept soundly, was lost in her drunken slumber, oblivious to the world around her. She woke up to Jonathan’s gentle touch and a raging headache.

“Hey babe.” his voice said in a hush that slowly brought her back to life. “We should probably go.”

Light was appearing outside. It was early in the morning but they were both sobered up enough. They quickly crept through the house avoding sleepers.

“What a party.” Jonathan said with a grin as they got to the car amid the morning chill air.

“Yeah…Gosh…My head…”

“Mine too…We are getting too old.”

They laughed as they drove back to their house.
