XXXmas Party: Leah waits for Jonathan (Suspicion: -10 Lust: -20 Tenure: -20)

Leah walked outside the house of the busy faculty Christmas party to get some air. She noticed the lovely atmosphere and a dangling strand of mistletoe.

Leah smirked as she eyed the mistletoe, knowing full well what it symbolized. She could wait for someone to grab a quick kiss. Most of the guests were inside or busy staring into an outside firepit. Coach Reed was outside and almost seemed as if he was going to approach Leah but he checked himself.

Leah waited for Jonathan who was approaching. She couldn’t wait to kiss him. Coach Reed's eyes watched Leah and her fiance with jealousy.

As Jonathan neared Leah, she felt a surge of guilt wash over her. She wondered if he could see the deceit etched in her eyes, the shadows of her hidden desires flickering beneath the surface. But then, as his warm smile greeted her, Leah pushed those thoughts away. She plastered on a bright smile, her red lips curving seductively as she reached up to brush Jonathan's cheek with her fingers.

"Hey there, handsome," she purred, her voice dripping with fake sweetness. "You know what this mistletoe means, right?"

Jonathan's eyes widened in surprise, a blush creeping up his neck. He leaned in hesitantly, his lips just barely brushing against hers. Leah's mind was elsewhere though, thinking of the sordid pact she had made with Principal Howard and the compromising position she was entangled in. Guilt mingled with desire as she deepened the kiss, a fleeting moment of passion amidst a web of lies and deceit. But just as she was lost in the throes of the stolen embrace, a voice pierced through her reverie.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here?"

Leah's blood turned cold as she pulled away from Jonathan to see Principal Howard standing in the shadows, his eyes gleaming with amusement and something darker. She could feel the weight of his gaze, the unspoken threat hanging heavy in the air.

"Principal Howard," Leah managed to **** out, her heart hammering in her chest. She could see the satisfaction in his smirk as he sauntered closer, a predator closing in on his prey.

"Don't let me interrupt," he drawled, his voice smooth and dripping with malice. "I was just admiring the festive spirit."

Jonathan shifted uncomfortably beside Leah, his confusion was evident as he glanced between them. Leah's mind raced, panic clawing at her insides as she scrambled for an explanation.

"It's just a fun tradition,” Leah said blankly.

“Oh of course Miss Williams. I was just enjoying the love and…devotion you two have.” He smirked. “You are a lucky man Jonathan.” And he turned away and walked ominously back inside the house.
