"... wyverns?" Kazuma asked as he looked at the quest Cremea had given him.

"Yep, apparently, a group of them set up a roost nearby, there's about five of them, two parents and three adolescents," Cremea replied. "And we can't let them pick off innocent travelers or rookie adventurers."

"Okay, but are you sure about it?" Kazuma asked in what he hoped was a delicate tone.

"What do you mean?" Cremea asked, raising an eyebrow.

"...I thought you hated killing dragons and only made that one exception to one day unlock that Dragon Knight class?"

"Yeah. And?" she blinked, seeming legitimately confused for a second before realizing what he was getting at. "Oh don't be an idiot, wyverns are only in the dragon family via technicality. In actuality, they're wannabe dragons at best. It's basically the difference between killing a person, and killing a chimpanzee to me..."

"...yeah, where I come from, a lot of people consider killing chimpanzees and other apes to be pretty messed up regardless," Kazuma deadpanned.

Cremea snorted. "Well, not me! Besides, this will be a great way for me to get some EXP to get closer to level forty! Not to mention the pay, plus, the other spoils!" Cremea grinned.

"Other spoils?" Kazuma asked.

"Wyverns, instead of breath attacks, have paralytic venom in their tails," Megumin filled Kazuma in.

"Yeah, and I have the Cure Poison spell, so that already makes them much less dangerous to us than an actual dragon," Aqua noted.

"Point being, I'm pretty sure someone with a dirty fighting style like yours could find a use for that upon harvesting it," Cremea smirked.

"Oh, he definitely could," Darkness giggled.

"...I suppose so. Alright, I'm in," Kazuma agreed.

"Great, we just have to make a quick stop before we leave," Cremea told Kazuma.
