Try not to write too positively, this is a slightly sadder world, with rationing on such a scale that has never been seen before, other than in Hong Kong, as it is the home of the Kaiju black market.

If you are confused about anything, the story will be slightly different from the film's story, but I'd still recommend watching the film to get a good basis for the storyline, and it's also just a good film.
