Walking into the ladies room right after some girls had just entered it didn't seem at all like something worth 100 bucks for John Doe. He would get scolded, worst case kicked out of the restaurant but he could probably write it off as an honest mistake. After all he was in the habit of talking himself out of things since he was about eight.
