Worm Holes

Late into the 2100s Humans developed the ability to make worm holes for long distance travel. These worm holes were split into two classifications, single, and connected.

The single worm hole acted as a one way ticked allowing ships to fly across the galaxy at amazing rates, however they were incredibly difficult to control meaning that you could choose the direction you wanted to go in, but that was about it, a few claim that they could sense the currents of the worm holes, but this has yet to be turned into a more accurate travel form.

Connected involved gateways to make two worm holes that would connect, this was perfectly accurate, but needed the gateways to be made and operational.

The standard way to spread the worm hole network was to use single worm holes to get close to the target, then get to the target location and build the receiving worm hole there for a connected network.
