EarthUnbound is a shared universe for fictional stories which take place in an alternate version of our own modern world where sex, nudity, open relationships, alternative orientations, , and other taboos are not considered taboo at all, but form a perfectly normal and commonplace part of ordinary life.

The style of alternate reality chosen to explain the difference between the setting of EarthUnbound and the real world is a highly improbable alternate history, which diverges from real history in the mid-twentieth century. To be clear: the author makes no claim that the alternate history provided for EarthUnbound is at all realistic. In fact, it’s probably one of the most outrageous, unrealistic alternative histories ever written. The only reason an alternate history has been created at all, instead of just declaring that the world of EarthUnbound simply has different rules than ours, is that the author loves world-building almost as much as writing erotic stories themselves.
