Working at her desk

Alexa sighed as she went through her computer scrolling through various spreadsheets and documents, making sure everything was running smoothly. She then hit a button. “Maggie, please come to my office.”

A woman with curly red hair and covered in freckles came into the room. Her eyes were green with dark bags under their eyes. “Ms Johnson, how may I help you?” Maggie asked.

“You can start by getting me the correct file. And also a cup of coffee,” Alexa said.

“Y-yes, Ms Johnson,” Maggie said as she disappeared and then reappeared a few minutes later with a cup of hot coffee and a manila folder.

Maggie handed the folder to Alexa. She took and took a sip of the coffee. Alexa paused for a moment and said. “This coffee has no cream. You know I like it with cream.”

“I-I’m sorry,” Maggie whimpered as Alexa tossed the cup of coffee at Maggie causing the cup to break open, drenching Maggie in the hot coffee, her clothes covered in it. “Agh!”

“Now get back to work,” Alexa said as she slammed the door shut in Maggie’s face.

Alexa drummed the surface of her desk as she looked at the file Maggie gave her. She bit her lower lip thinking about what to do until she finally rose to her feet. “That’s it. I’m done for the day.”

She shut her computer off and headed out of her office.
