Work
Once Bruce left the Manor he made his way to the car lot and jumped in the Bentley, 'I have absolutely no idea how to drive this,' was his first thought as he entered the drivers seat. It had been a while since Bruce actually drove himself in anything but the Batmobile, and it didn't seem like a good idea for the Batmobile to show up in front of Wayne Enterprises. So after a few minutes Bruce remembered the basics and drove into Gotham.
Bruce pulled in front of Wayne Enterprises barely managing to stop in time, the Bentley left a noticeable skid-mark. As Bruce stepped out he threw the keys to one of his Chief Executives saying, "If you could park that I'd be very appreciative."
Without waiting for the man to respond Bruce walked inside. Multiple people tried to stop Bruce to speak as he walked through the lobby, but Bruce did not let any of them stop him from quickly entering the elevator. It's just too bad that somebody else was also not stopped from entering the elevator. Bruce's secretary, a young blonde woman who moved from Metropolis named Rachel, jumped in just as the elevator closed, and glared at Bruce.
"Mr. Wayne, if you aren't going to answer my calls then I need Alfred to," Rachel huffed, "I mean it's fine if you don't want to have a schedule, or regular hours, or do most any actual work, as long as you tell me what I need to cover for, but now you AND Alfred are dropping off the map during DECEMBER. Do you have any idea how busy we are in DECEMBER. Oh wait, no of course you don't, Because you never care!" She paused to take some deep breaths in order to calm herself down.
'Deep breaths, an enclosed space, and a pretty girl,' Bruce thought, 'This is going to end poorly.'
Bruce took the time between her ranting to examine the young girl. She was wearing a cream colored jacket and skirt with a white button-up shirt, similarly cream colored heels, and a necklace Bruce had never seen before, 'Hmm, normally she wears the locket her boyfriend got her, I wonder what happened to it.' Bruce then examined the files Rachel held in her hand, most of them were unimportant, but one of them caught Bruce's eye.
The file folder was marked 'The December Gala' and then Bruce took his own deep breath and thought, 'Oh, shit.'
Rachel was about begin the second half of her rant before her breath caught. 'There it is,' Bruce thought.
Rachel's eye's dilated slightly, and a blush began to spread to her cheek, soon she was stuttering and refusing to look at Bruce, instead shuffling her files vigorously. Soon she was too vigorous and scattered her files all over the ground. She dropped to her knees and began picking up the files, just as the elevator reached the top floor.
Multiple men and women stood at the elevator door as it opened to Bruce Wayne backed up against the wall of the elevator and his secretary kneeling in front of him, "It's, uh, it's not what it looks like," Rachel began before Bruce pulled her up and past the crowd.
He darted through the crowd, Rachel in tow, and into his office. The windows blacked out as he entered and threw the girl on the couch.
Bruce leaned against his desk and thought about how he wanted to handle this, the pressure which had begun building in the elevator continued building, he wanted to take Rachel, hard. He hadn't been fully satisfied after breakfast, but it wouldn't be good to break his secretary, at least not without permission.
