Work...

After a few minutes of laying with Adela, you sigh. "I better get ready for work."

"Of course."

You shuffle out of bed and take a shower. Once clean, you get dressed and head into the living room, finding Adela had the foresight to reheat the remaining pizza you had last night. Now full, you say "I better get going."

"Right. See you tonight?"

"Yeah, about that."

"Oh?" Adela shoots you a puzzled look.

"I gotta go grocery shopping tonight. Should still be able to catch up."

"Okay. Well, you can come around to mine when you're ready."

"Sounds good to me."

"Cool. I'll see you tonight then."

"Sure. I better get going though."

"Oh, of course. See you tonight babe."

You give Adela one last kiss before the two of you head off your separate ways. When you near your office, you find Monica waiting for you.

"Hey Oscar." She says.

"What's up?" You ask.

"Mr. Sharpton wants to speak with you when possible."

"Is right now good?"

"I think so."

You nod before heading to your father's office. As you twist the doorknob, you wonder what he wants with you.
