Work time

Daisy took one last look at herself in the mirror, straightening her hair and smoothing out her work blouse. She had a big presentation to give to her colleagues and she wanted to make sure she looked her best. She took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves, before exiting the bathroom and making her way to the conference room.

As she entered, she saw James already seated at the table, surrounded by their co-workers. He looked up as she walked in, his eyes flicking over her for a moment before returning to his phone.
