Word of the KO gets to his coach
It was only natural. The moms were all talking about it. After all, they had just gone to a boxing seminar, only for one of their own to outperform the instructor! Not to mention knock him the fuck out. It was far too exhilarating to keep secret.
And so the moms all talked, smearing Billy’s ability while putting some shine on Rae, talking about how she had outboxed the fucking champion. How the mighty man got put to an early sleep. And the word spread, just as Billy had feared - though thankfully, not as public.
On Monday, when Billy returned to school, he was terrified that he would arrive to massive ridicule and a sea of grinning faces. That everyone would know that he finally had a knockout loss, and that it was to a fiery redhead retired milf. That his winning streak had at last come to a close, and in the worst way possible.
But somehow, that didn’t happen. In fact, everything was normal - nobody was treating him any differently. That was up until Billy saw Lucy.
Coach Lucy marched through the doors in the middle of Billy’s Spanish class, telling the teacher that she needed to talk to him. Billy’s Spanish teacher was all too happy to see him go, as he was usually nothing but disruptive in that class - even if today he had surprisingly quiet so far. And so Lucy pulled Billy into the hallway.
“Billy. A word.”
He could feel the anxiety building inside him as his supportive coach, the one who believed in him the most, led him away from his classmates’ hearing range. She didn’t look happy. Did she know…?
Billy gulped. He followed behind Lucy closely as she walked him out to her office. Lucy had pulled him out of class a couple of times before, but it was usually for something good - a photoshoot with his belt to promote the school’s sports clubs, or a bit of extra training for the student she saw the most potential in before his upcoming match.
This didn’t feel like one of those talks. The whole walk was silent, save for the clicking of Coach Lucy’s shoes. Only once the two were in private, Lucy turned, crossed her arms, and spoke.
“Rae.” Lucy said. Billy tried not to show any reaction on his face, but he could feel his heart skip a beat or five.
“Uhhh… What about her?” he tried.
Lucy’s face was stern. She had Billy’s best interests and future at heart, but unfortunately for him, that meant getting to the bottom of something right now. Something he didn’t want her to uncover. He couldn’t help but blush under her firm, dominant gaze. He wanted to look away, but **** himself to hold eye contact.
“Rae. The mom who you were teaching over the weekend. Ring any bells? Because she sure ring yours.”
Billy winced at her words, but tried to keep his cool.
“I don’t…?”
“She knocked you OUT, Billy,” Lucy cut him off. “You were limp, sprawled across the ring you’re the king of. You’ve never lost like that before. Explain yourself: what. Went. Wrong?”
Billy gulped nervously. His eye contact was starting to falter. “H-Haha, Coach, she must have made that story up-“
“I’ve seen the pictures. Talk. Now.”
Billy’s sad attempt to work his way out of this was rebuked with efficiency. Shit. He didn’t know there were pictures.
There was a long pause. Lucy didn’t look away from his eyes, waiting for an answer. Billy’s blush deepened. Averting his gaze at last, he spoke quietly, and a bit more honestly.
“She… She was a former pro...” he tried, meekly.
“She hadn't competed in YEARS, Billy. How the hell did she... Did she KNOCK you OUT?”
The words came out of Lucy’s lips with shock, and a kind of almost disgust. She had never thought that Billy - her best student, her brightest prodigy - would face his first KO like this. Flat-out **** in an unofficial spar against some older milf. He was supposed to be the best boxer in the world one day, so long as his talents were nurtured just right - yet instead, he had been punched to dreamland in a seminar partly designed to advertize HIS OWN skills!
Coach Lucy cocked a hip and waited. Billy just stared at the floor, mouth growing dry. Irritated and impatient, Lucy continued without his reply.
“Listen, Billy. I’ve managed to keep this quiet for now. But you had better start explaining. How in the world did you get knocked out - knocked FULLY out - by a class you were supposed to be teaching?”
“I… She just got a good angle, and-“
“No,” Coach Lucy cut him off. “No, Billy. This was your first time getting knocked out. I know how tough you are. It should take more than that. It should take more than an older woman like Rae has in her. This wasn’t just a good angle. What. Happened?”
Billy gulped. She was right. You don’t just get rattled - don’t just get dropped like that - by a retired mom. Especially not at a seminar your coach had SPECIFICALLY asked you to run for her, to promote the boxing club. To promote yourself.
This looked bad. Really bad. Billy had to come up with something good.
“I… I…”
