Woof!

"If you can't behave obediently as a human perhaps we need to make you something subservient to a human owner." Dr Darke decided "Get down on all fours."

Christina reluctantly did as she was told and looked up sadly at Dr Darke in the hope of gaining sympathy or forgiveness. However, he was still stinging from her hurtful words earlier and was and in no mood for showing leniency.

"You can no longer speak, though you may communicate by barking like the dog that you now are. You will remain on all fours and behave appropriately for the species I have told you to be for as long as I desire. If you are a good dog and please your owner sufficiently I may allow you the privalege of becoming a human again at some point. Do you understand."

"Woof!" Christina barked.

This was a new low and she just hoped nobody she knew, or even didn't know, walked in and saw her like this.

"Good girl." Dr Darke smiled cruelly "Now go and fetch my shoes for me."

He gestured towards a pair of black loafers on the matt by his office entrance. Christina padded over on all fours towards them, her knees chafing on the carpet and hands pressing against all manner of dirt and dust while Dr Darke sat back and enjoyed the lovely view she was giving him of her rear.

When she reached her destination Christina dipped her head down and gripped the rim of Dr Darke's shoe with her teeth. Apart from the total humiliation she was experiencing, the combined taste of worn rubber and pungent smell of feet made her want to gag. She turned and scampered back to Dr Darke as quickly as she could, dropping the offending item at his feet with relief.

"And the other one." Dr Darke ordered casually, sending Christina on the same grim journey a second time.

"There's a good dog!" Dr Darke encouraged as Christina returned with his left shoe. He ran his hand affectionately down her hair as if it were fur then stroked the skin on her back as far down as the crack of her butt "If you don't want to be my girlfriend perhaps you would make a nice, loyal pet?"

"Woof! Ruff!" Was all Christina could manage in response, but she really hoped her punishment would be over soon. She was beginning to feel completely dehumanised.

"Okay, I need to pop out for an hour or so to run a few errands. I want you to wait in this room for your owner until I get back. And don't cause any trouble. Understood?"

"Woof?!" Christina conplained. He was leaving her like this for an hour? What if someone walked in and found her like this? Dr Darke's office wasn't locked and there were other people who worked nearby. How was she supposed to explain herself in dog language?.

But that was none of Dr Darke's concern as he grabbed his jacket and left.
