Wonders where Oz went

Maria finished putting all the ingredients into the pot. She checked the kitchen for a timer and found a small egg-shaped timer. She noticed it only went to sixty, but she needed two hours for the soup to be done. She put on the sixty minutes and decided to pocket the timer away. She then went down across the hall into the living room where the children were playing.

“Master Oz?” she asked the children simply. In response they pointed in the direction they had seen him go fifteen minutes earlier.

Maria made her way to the large room which had rather thick doors leading inside of it. She noticed the remains of popcorn, a few stains from sugary drinks and a lot of dust right away. She was about to turn around and grab her cleaning tools when Oz noticed her and called out to her:

“Ah, Maria. Soup’s cookin’? Come on in, check this out.” And he waited for her to come in completely.
