Wizard Princess (PB Path)

You can see her eyes narrow further into a squint as her nose wrinkles in disgust.

“Oh right… the princess of wizard city…. I forgot the people of wizard city chose to partake in these negotiations……. Cooooooool ” You don’t need magic to sense she is fighting the urge to say something and you know exactly what that is too, because you DO have magic.

Before the conversation can escalate into something unpleasant a voice fills the room, putting an end to the muttering of conversations.

“Alright ladies, let’s get down to business” looking over towards the prominent table that takes up the center of the room.

Standing at the end of the table in Breakfast Princess, who beckons the others over, many princesses take their seats at the table each representing a kingdom, a people, an aspect of reality, anything really.

“So, first object of discussion, the trade deal between the Slime and Flame kingdoms sooooo, what’s up with that….?”

Flame Princess pinches the bridge of her nose in frustration, with a sigh she responds “look, the only trade route that doesn’t take like a month is through the ice kingdom but the flame people keep getting attacked by Ice Queen”

There’s a collective sigh from the table before Breakfast Princess raises a hand.

“The Breakfast kingdom motions to declare the Ice Queen the worst” Several princesses second the motion.

“Um…. The wizards of wizard city could create a portal between the flame and slime kingdoms?” You say drawing the attention of several others.

“You’d be able to do that?”

“I mean, yeah probably, 30 minute ritual”

Theirs mutters among the others before Princess Bubblegum rises “Alright, I’ve heard enough, I didn’t say anything when the sheisters of wiz biz city joined the council but this is getting ridiculous”

“We have REAL magic called science, all I need to do is build a two way dimensional tunnel in each each kingdom, you walk through and the dimension shifter particles spit you out at the other side exactly like a portal” several of the princesses con template the idea before each stating their opinion.

“No offense Peebles, but I don’t like the idea of you building things in the flame kingdom” states Flame Princess.

“Yeah and the slime kingdom is mondo messy, slime has a habit of getting eeeeeevvvvvverywhere….” Several other princesses cringe at the thought, yourself included.

“What, so you guys are gonna buy into their hokum? They’ll probably end up doing the same thing anyway but they’ll say it’s some mystical portal that is powered by good vibes and good intentions to instantly transport goods to the other side in better condition”

“I mean if she could do that, that would be pretty sweet” says Flame Princess.

“Uuuuugh!” Princess Bubblegum marches out cursing in what you think might be German.

“Alllllrighty, all those in favor of using super rad magic?” Says Slime Princess raising a pseudopod.

Flame Princess, Wildberry Princess, Breakfast Princess and Frozen Yogart Princess all raise their hand in agreement.

Lumpy Space Princess does not, stating that she needs to “stir the pot” whatever the hell that means.

You talk to some of the others about the logistics of the portal, basically you just need to make trips to both kingdoms every other month or so to recast the spell, and after a while the spell becomes permanent.

They both seem to like that part.
