With great responsibility comes great disappointment
Spider-man is tempted by the possibilities. But then he remembers what Uncle Ben taught him. "No," Spider-man thinks to himself. "I can't betray Uncle Ben. Even, if I regret it later."
Spidey does nothing. He goes about his day normally. No matter the temptation, he refuses.
"Well, that sucked." The Blobby Cosmic Being states.

This is the most boring possibility but also the most in character.
