“I'm fine, just a little miffed I only wounded it.” She sighed, putting her sword away.

Roach smiled hesitantly. “Good thing it didn't have teeth.”

“Oh it had teeth.” She said, pushing her metal skirt aside, to reveal the bruises on her leg.

“Kind of dull if they didn't pierce.” He responded confused.

“Why would they pierce my armor?” Alice asked confused.

“There's no armor on your thigh, or your stomach, or hell your giant boobs!” Roach said tersely.

“Of course there is.” The Hell Knight said, tapping her thigh, causing a red field of energy to ripple, around her seemingly unprotected skin.

Das finally spoke up. “I think Henry and I are just confused, because the rest of your armor is metal.”

“Oh.” Alice blinked. “Well, **** Knights like to look sexy. So we don't cover our whole body with visible armor. I mean you think I'm going to let some asshole blast my huge boobs because I didn't put armor on them?” She laughed softly, tapping her breasts, causing the same red energy to ripple.

“Sorry.” Das continued. “This is are first time with a **** Knight. We've never seen your power up close before.”

Ah, that makes sense. This is my first time working with a team, so I'm sure I have a lot to learn about what you can do too.” She smiled.

“Look forward to it.” Octavia piped in, garnering a smile from the busty knight.

“Alright we need to cross this stream.” Alice sighed turning back to the water, and glancing at it's deceiving surface.

“Mam?” Roach queried. “Shouldn't we report in?”

“Why?” She asked confused.

“Report the hazard.” He replied.

“Oh.” Alice murmured. “Yes, you're right.” She replied causing him to smile with a bit of pride. Tapping the screen on her left bracer, she puled up a holo map of the area. The ship was marked, along with the clearing they had found the herd of herbivores, as well as their current position. Not much was shown beyond what they had searched. “Sergeant Kane to Lieutenant Joshi.”

“This is L go ahead.” Came their commander's response.

“We're four miles out, and found a stream. Some sort of snake like creature attacked us. Wounded it and it fled, but they might be indigenous to this area.” She replied.

“Copy. Did you test the water?” He asked.

“Clean sir.”

“Hold position, I'm sending two to you.” He replied.

“Is their a problem sir?” She asked curious.

“Water purifier was damaged, might as well stock up.” He clarified.

“How's the rest of the ship?”

“Fucked. Weapons, Nav, engines, coms, all still down. The stream will let us focus on other tasks.”

“We found a herd of elk like creatures, might be food if needed.” She said, tapping the marked clearing.

“Good to know, for now the water will do. L out.” He replied.

Alice tapped on screen a few more times but just sighed. “With nav down the ship isn't giving us extended telemetry. Octavia, how long until night fall?”

The scout glanced around the partly cloudy sky for a moment, as she pondered the question. “Sixteen hundred to eighteen hundred. Given the woods we're in.”
