“It's going to be dark before we can leave, if not before they arrive.” Alice mused in thought. “Alright, Roach, Das, head south a half mile, Ledford and I will head north.”

The blond man frowned at her. “Are orders are to hold position.”

“We have four hours until they arrive give or take. We can sit here, or we can scout the area, and look for a place to camp tonight.” She hissed annoyed.

“I just do what I'm told mam.” The man replied stubbornly.

“I understand.” She nodded, deciding on a compromise. “You two check the perimeter, and hold position, we'll scout north.”

“Yes mam.” He replied, though it was obvious he didn't like it.

Octavia led the way, and the two of them worked their way along the stream, heading up river. They were quiet for the next half hour, until Alice checked in with the other two, to make sure they maintained contact.

Octavia smiled softly at Alice, before turning back to the path she was making. “He's not that bad you know?”

“You mean when he's not slamming his cock down your throat?” Alice teased bemused.

“True. I blew the Commander before getting this assignment.” Alice chuckled.

“**** Knights, are different. While most women are eligible when they join the majority, a **** Knight remains pure until she graduates from the academy.” Alice nodded.

“What about the woman you were with?” The scout asked.

“Doesn't count, men don't consider women who have trysts with other women impure, only if a man touches her. It's not even considered cheating for a married woman. At least among nobles.” The knight shrugged.

“Is that why your father claimed you first? Because you're a noble?” Octavia asked, hesitantly.

“It's considered tradition for a noble father or close relative, to be first with a noble woman who has reached the age of consent. It is thought that they will be more gentle than other's might be.” Alice nodded.

“My first time was definitely a bit rough.” The soldier nodded, remembering.

“Boot camp?” Alice asked perceptively.
