What can Pandemonica do to get the Helltaker's attention?

With an appealing suggestion... how about a bikini car wash?

Chapter 4 by MidbossMan MidbossMan

Let's face it: there's no getting a guy to listen to you droning on about converting his man-cave to a home office and going shopping for stationary when he's got demons in hot miniskirts and booty shorts strolling all around his apartment. Pandemonica realized she was going to have to come up with something pretty dang out-there if she wanted to draw his attention. Watching him spoon-feed pancakes into the lazy mouths of the three mouths of Cerberus per their request, she began to shiver with agitation. She decided to just start spitting out crazy suggestions to see if he was paying any attention.

"So, I was thinking, after we collect whatever money we can from donating all of your blood to the local blood bank..."

Nothing.

"We can train Cerberus as a dancing dog and start raising money via the spread of viral videos and viewer donations..."

Still nothing.

"Then I figure we'll all get into our swimsuits and start a bikini car wash-"

The Helltaker's head whipped around nearly 180 degrees; his eyes seemed to be flashing behind the circular, dark lenses of his sunglasses. "Tell me more about that one."

Pandemonica clutched her clipboard to the breast of her blazer, smiling awkwardly. "Oh?" She hadn't meant that as a real suggestion. "Well... I think the overhead would be pretty low. You wouldn't have to invest in much besides sponges, water, buckets, hoses, and advertisement... we all have our own swimsuits already, so that's a non-issue. I suppose it may be a good way to boost your income and put those bodies to use... more literally than I meant when I originally used the term. I'll start speaking to the other-"

She stopped herself mid-sentence. Watching the excitement on the Helltaker's face, she realized he'd obviously been wanting to see something like this for a while, but he couldn't ask the girls to hold a bikini contest himself... he'd lose all of his cool points, which were pretty important to a guy maintaining a harem. The fact that she'd suggested it herself was like the clouds had parted and a real miracle had come down from heaven for him.

If she said she'd talk to the other girls now... what would happen?

They'd all break out their bikinis, act like goofballs while they washed people's cars, and in the end, the Helltaker would forget who he owed the money (and the entertainment) to! It was embarrassing, but for the sake of finally getting some appreciation... she'd have to keep this idea between just the two of them. "... I think it would be best if I did the first test run."

Even with all the time that had passed since bringing Pandemonica out of hell, the Helltaker had never seen her out of her business suit before. "You're going to wear a bikini?"

"Y-Yes... What, did you think I didn't own one?" He didn't answer, perhaps pleading the fifth, but the response was written all over his mug in the form of his surprised expression. "Yes. I'll organize the whole event, then I'll wear a bikini and wash cars. I'll get you the money you need to get back on your feet. It's the least I can do for all you've done for the other girls. They're all expensive dates... You should have picked who you invited in more carefully." She sighed, but smiled regardless, thinking she'd just won out big over the other girls.

The Helltaker looked at the clipboard she'd set back down on the counter, then flipped to the expenses page. "... My coffee expenses have actually gone up 5,000% since last month."

Pandemonica snatched back up the clipboard and tucked it under her arm, then adjusted her glasses. "5,000% of coffee expenses is small potatoes, nothing to worry about at all. Speaking of which... I'm going to need a lot of coffee to get all of this together..."

As she left, the Helltaker gulped... He wondered to himself if the potential car-wash customers were ready for the coffee-fueled Pandemonica, the Sadistic Demon, they might end up getting.

Pandemonica spent the rest of the day gathering everything she needed and putting up advertisements around town. There was something pretty amusing about seeing an official, office-appropriate letterhead on a flyer for a bikini car-wash.

At any rate, while the people around town may not have been brave enough to journey down into hell to get their fill of demon cuties, it turned out they were more than ready to fork over their cash to get their car washed by one. As Pandemonica exited the house the next morning, her mouth dropped open at the sight of the conga line of automobiles that had lined up in anticipation of her services. There just weren't bikini car washes these days, demon-based or otherwise! For the moment, she still had a long towel wrapped around her body, worrying about being seen by the other girls on the way out... they'd know what she was up to soon enough, but she didn't want them mooching on her idea before she had an idea to cement it as hers!

Still, she felt herself getting cold feet...

Just in time, the Helltaker approached behind her, holding a mug of coffee in each of his massive hands. He extended hers to her, then switched the hand to a thumbs-up once she'd taken it. "Knock 'em dead."

The demon girl drank her coffee eagerly, savoring the warmth and the aroma. When she lowered the cup, her eyes shot open into evil, smiling crescents and a toothy grin overtook her face. These poor shmucks had no idea what they were in for...!
