How Pray Tell, Does Aegon Rectify This????
With Unsullied
Aegon Had Long Heard The Stories Of The Might Of The Unsullied, Mostly From His Uncle Oberyn and Lord Varys, But He Knew They Were **** Soldiers, and Slavery Had Long Been Outlawed In His Homeland. Aegon Hoped To Buy An Annual Ten Thousand Unsullied Until They Reached Eighty Thousand, and Aegon Would Immediately Free Them From Their Chains After Hitting The Seven Kingdoms Soil. When Unsullied Died, Aegon Would Purchase More To Replace Them, and Yet Again Offer Them The Chance To Serve Him As Paid Free Men, Or Take Their Chances Elsewhere. Freedom From A Lifetime Of Slavery Was An Effective Motivator, and What Better Opportunity Did He Have To Gain Their Loyalty? Nevertheless, As Eunuchs, They Were A Commodity As Troops Went, and Being Such They Could Not Reproduce, Aegon Hoped To Study Their Training Methods and Use Them In Westeros, But Without The Constant Culling Of Weakness. Aegon Believed In Gentle and Careful Nurturing Of Talents, Both Hidden and Obvious, Not Simply Culling A Weak Link Without Due Consideration. Thus Even When Purchasing Unsullied, They'd Still Have A Strong Foot Soldier Army.
Aegon, Robb, Visenya, Quentyn, Ser Jamie and Illyrio Had Traveled To Astapor, Where They Were Being Shown The Fruits Of The Unsullied Training Regimen By One Of The Good Masters, One Kraznys mo Nakloz. Despite Speaking Highly Fluent Valyrian, Aegon Chose To Refrain From Speaking It, and Asked Visenya To Do The Same. Instead They Relied On A **** Translator, One Who Was Quite Fetching As Summer Islanders Went. "The Unsullied Have Stood Here For A Day and A Night With No Food Or Water. They Will Stand Until They Drop, Such Is Their Obedience." The Girl Translates. "They May Suit My Needs, Tell Me Of Their Training?" Asks Aegon, As The Girl Translates. Aegon Is Mildly Insulted By The Man's Reply, and Resists The Urge To Respond In Kind With Bastard Valyrian. "They Begin Their Training At Age Five, Every Day They Drill From Dawn To Dusk, Until They Have Mastered The Short Sword, The Shield, and The Three Spears. Only One Boy In Four Survives This Rigorous Training...Their Discipline and Loyalty Is Absolute, The Fear Nothing." Says The Girl, Translating Again After Spears.
"Even The Bravest Of Men Must Fear ****." Says Ser Jamie. Kraznys Then Says To The Girl To Jamie He Smells Like Piss, and Insults Her When She Asks If She Should. He Proceeds To Cut The Nipple Off One Unsullied, Who Thanks The Old Man For Allowing Him To Serve, and Aegon Wants To Exact The Same Demonstration On Kraznys, and When He Speaks Of The Final Test, Aegon Is Ready To Vomit, Yet Swallows Such A Notion, Literally. "Tell The Old Coot, I Need An Annual Supply Of Ten Thousand Unsullied Until I Reach Eighty Thousand Of Them, and That I've Understood Every Word He's Spoken Since I've Arrived, Including His Remark About Ser Jamie and Piss, and That If He Wishes Me To Make A Purchase At All, He'll Give Me You As Compensation." Says Aegon In High Valyrian With A Ghiscari Accent, Making His Request For Translation A Moot Point. "Fine, So Be It, She's Yours!!!" Says Kraznys In Bastard Valyrian. "Thank You." Aegon Replied. Once They've Left Aegon Begs A Question In Basic.
"What Is Your Name?" Aegon Asks Her. "This One Is Called Missandei." Says The Girl. "Good, Take That Collar Off, Your No **** Any More. I Give You The Same Choice I'll Give The Unsullied, Stay With Me As A Freed Woman and Live A Warm and Happy Life, Or Take Your Chances Elsewhere." Says Aegon. "This One...I Think I'll Stay With You." Says Missandei. "Then You'll Always Have A Place With My Family." Says Aegon, Planning To Give Her To His Aunt Or Mother As An Attendant.
Aegon, Robb, Jamie, Quentyn, Illyrio, Visenya and Missandei Now Had An Army Of Twelve Thousand Unsullied Boarding The Boats To Westeros. "We Thank You For This Service Lord Illyrio, But I Can't Take Your Daughter As My Queen Yet, I'll Have To Clear Things Up With The High Septon and The Realm, But When I Do, She Will Be A Queen." Says Aegon As He Leads His Men New Bride and Her Brother Onto The Boat and Prepares To Sale Back Home.
