With Mrr'ro in charge

Mrr'ro slid gracefully from her perch above the furless creature and levelled her spear at him.

"Remove your armour so that I can see you are unarmed!" 'ro demanded, jabbing her spear at Josh. She'd killed larger creatures many times over but this one interested her.

Josh was confused, "Armour?" and then it hit him, "Oh, my clothes? But then I'd be naked!"

The heat of the jungle was relentless. Over head the trees rustled and strange animal cries echoed from the distance.

"Naked?" asked Mrr'ro, wondering what the word meant but impressed by the creature's ability to speak the tongue of her tribe.

"Oh... Those are just tools. Ah, okay, never mind, I'll do it." He sensed arguing the point would be counterproductive and dangerous. Bending forward, he picked up the heavy belt and fastened it around his waist.

Mrr'ro was pleased. If the creature submitted he would belong to her. "Tribute!" she demanded.
