With Great Power..

James & Melanie and Lucy & Leilani were cuddled up in their respective couples on the giant four poster bed they would all be sharing rather snugly until Rebecca had been dealt with.

"So what's the plan, gorgeous" James asked as he stroked Mel's hair "Practice your skills a bit more until you are ready to take Rebecca on? Maybe team up with Lei and zap her together?"

"That might work" Mel pondered as she rubbed her hand gently up and down her boyfriend's thigh "Or there is that other thing I told you about"

"Oh yeah, your powerful new friend" James recalled.

"Who? What?" Lucy asked with interest "Spill!!"

"This is supposed to be super secret, so it can't leave this room, but long story short someone got in contact with me and said they can enhance my magical abilities enough to overpower Rebecca's, but in return I have to commit to taking down the Director afterwards"

"Holy shit, you totally need to do it!" Leilani blurted out immediately "That's, like, two birds with one stone!"

"It's not that simple though" Mel cautioned, trying to manage people's expectations of her "The Director makes Rebecca look like Sabrina the Teenage Witch. This would be a way bigger fight, and I still wouldn't be anywhere near his level. It would also take me time to get control of my new powers. It's not like I would be instantly ready to defeat Rebecca single handedly"

"Would all the glitches definitely back Mel up on fighting the Director?" James asked "Because once she takes the deal she probably can't back out of it, and she can't check with the others first either"

"All of the originals from the Naked Ambition days will for sure" Lucy nodded "It might be a lot to ask of the newer glitches. but hopefully they will help too. Even Tania likes Mel!"

"The creep needs taking down" Leilani added "Who knows what kind of evil shit he is getting up to behind the scenes, or if he has even finished with us?"

"I've always had a horrible lingering feeling he will come back to haunt us at some point" Melanie admitted "Plus, if we can beat him, I might actually be able to wear clothes again"

"Okay, so that would be the main argument against fighting him" Lucy joked "But seriously, you should go for it. We'll all be in it together, I promise. And wouldn't it be awesome to be a super powerful badass witch?"

"It wasn't exactly a life goal" Melanie shrugged "But I think you're right. He's an evil fucker and if I am being offered the power to take him down, I should at least try and do it. I mean, we should all do it, together!"

"Team Hero to the rescue!" Lucy called out dramatically.

"Oh gawd, are we really married to that name?" Melanie sighed.
