Winter—Spring Hols: Heidi’s day
Heidi sits at her desk, eyes fixed on her monitor, then snaps to her phone as notifications come in from Erik and Logan.
She hadn’t noticed it herself, but ever since starting her relationship with Erik, getting to know Vi, seeing and hanging around with them two, she got a lot more confident not just in herself and her hobbies- the stereotypically ‘attractive’ ones, like fitness and tight gym clothing — but also the less ‘attractive’ ones, like her obsession with fighting video games and anime. But just in general, the way she speaks to people- her peers and professors- hell, the way she speaks to Logan and the way that she was able to handle his approach to her and actually flirt back, she was able to recognise and enjoy his flirtation with her. Her confidence has grown tenfold. The enjoyment she gets from something she was almost apathetic of — sex and sexuality — has also increased.
Even the way she dresses for work has changed. It used to be long summer dresses that mostly hid her major sexual physical asset — her ass — now she’s at work, wearing a tight blue compression top, a cheetah-pattern sports bra peeking past the zip, and a pair of tight blue compression pants. Now if she stands to grab something from the high shelf behind her, she knows that the male guests, and hell, even some of the girls, as evidenced by Vi, get a nice look at her ass and every jiggle as she steps and moves.
The Heidi of old would have been ashamed and embarrassed. But now, she enjoys the attention. That’s definitely more of a Vi influence than a Erik one… Or is it? Erik is quite the fan of being behind her, after all.
Heidi nibbles on her lower lip, picking up her phone; she figures that Erik still sleeps, having just returned from the winter getaway with Vi and Ari this morning. She felt a bit jealous while scrolling her socials earlier that day.
It looked fun, of course; she hasn’t been to the snow in a long while. But just the night before, she'd been doing one of her new habits… She masturbated while imagining what was going on on the trip, without her. Especially the photo of that red haired girl… She knew what happened there; it’s Erik after all… And if she saw that dick of his…
She shivers at the thought, looking up at the ceiling and undoing the zip on her jacket a little more, letting more cool air in.
She shivers at the thought of abandoning her reception desk and letting herself into Erik’s room, feeling that thing of his inside her.
She grabs her water bottle and takes a long swig. “I need to calm down.” She says to herself.
A part of her felt bad. She really likes Logan. But she just fucking loves the way Erik has learned her body; hell, everything she’s learned about her own body- the way she likes to be touched and fucked, has been largely from Erik. But it still brings her a bit of shame that even with Logan, and his honestly amazing body, she still pictures Erik in her sexual fantasies. Hell, the number of times she’s touched herself while watching the video they filmed. His muscles rippling and tensing with each one of his thrusts, the taste of his lips rushing back whenever she watches them make out, the moment when she answers the phone…
She takes another swig. “Heidi.” She scolds herself. Trying to ground herself. “Calm down.”
“Logan. Is. Hot.” And he is. Of course he is. And with him it’s so different, and she’s sure that sex will feel good, maybe even better than it does with Erik… Maybe…
The point is, Heidi reminds herself. That with Logan, her heart flutters, her hands go clammy with more than just physical attraction; there's a romantic one there, a yearning from her body AND her heart. It may not make much sense to others, but she wants to be his girlfriend before sleeping with him, before even kissing him; she wants to fuck him as his girlfriend, not just ‘a girl he’s chatting to’.
That’s what the girls tell themselves; that’s what she’s convinced herself of. The possibility that she only made that arbitrary rule so she could sleep with Erik up until the very last moment, even now, during these holidays, when she knows, in her heart, that Logan's going to ask any day now.
So she doesn’t know how to react when she gets two texts at almost the same time.
She squeezes her eyes shut, her body and heart at war.
But she knows what she should say yes to. Choosing the other would be silly.
She really does want a boyfriend, after all.
Logan stands up, grinning, and in his hand is an acai bowl; even from the few feet away that she stands, she recognises that he’s nailed her order.
She blushes and smiles.
He puts the bowl down and wraps his arms around her, holding her tight. She presses her face against his chest and returns the hug, the comforting smell of his cologne warming her chest. “Aww. I quiet enjoy being in your arms like this.”
Logan laughs above her; he’s quite tall. “And I quite enjoy squeezing you.” He squeezes her playfully, pulling a giggle out of her.
She pulls away and smiles, sucking in her bottom lip.
‘I love seeing him so much.’
He smiles back, a rare blush crossing his strong cheekbones. His eyes go wide, and he grabs the açaí bowl, holding it in front of him as he does a silly bow. “M’lady. A bounty upon you.”
Heidi laughs, not at all privy to the people around them, watching the stupid cuteness; she curtsies with her imaginary skirt. “My gratitude, my royal liege.” She takes the treat from his hands. “Nailed the order again, my good sir.”
Logan puts a hand on his chest, closing his eyes and nodding. “My queen, why of course.” He lets out a shaky exhale through his smile.
“You okay?” Heidi asks, taking a spoonful.
He nods. And holds out a shaky hand. “Come with me?”
Heidi could cry from the cuteness; she reaches out and takes his hand, lacing her fingers with his. “Of course. My knight will protect me.”
…
Logan takes the blonde out towards a small park just outside the small strip of restaurants and cafes. He’s smiling the whole time, and she can feel the slight shiver in his hand, but it could be her own; she hasn’t held someone's hand like this for a long time.
He leads her to a small park, where a small bush of nemophilas blooms beside it. “Oh! I love these flowers.” She says giddily.
“I know,” Logan says with a smile, guiding her to sit down.
He reaches into the small bag slung around his shoulder, hesitates, and holds a small brown envelope. He decides to put the bag down on the floor and does his best to turn to Heidi.
“Uhm.”
Heidi knows what’s happening. She can feel the happy tears coming; she’s tense, with the half-eaten açaí left to the side of the bench.
“I really like you, Heidi… I’ve enjoyed all this time we spent together… I just… Every moment with you makes my heart feel so full, and I… want to keep hanging out more…”
She nods. “That’s good.” She responds, blushing hard. “I really like it too.”
Logan chuckles, swallowing his nerves, and holds out the envelope.
Heidi takes it, and he motions for her to open it.

Heidi looks up, tears on her cheeks; she laughs and nods, wrapping her arms around his neck. She pulls back and looks into his eyes.
She can’t wait a moment longer.
She leans forward and kisses him deeply. Her hands cup his face, his hands on her arms, returning the kiss softly.
She was right.
She’s so glad she was right. While kissing Logan, she feels it. This is better than it was when she kissed Erik. The feel of his lips against hers- it just hits so much more when there’s genuine romantic connection behind it. She’s glad; she won’t think of Erik as she had been up to this point. She doesn’t have to anymore. She has Logan.
She pulls back and grins.
“Is that a yes?” He asks.
“Logan… It took you long enough!” She says with a chuckle, inching closer and kissing him again. “Kissing my boyfriend feels amazing.” She whispers against his lips.
“Really? You should try kissing my girlfriend.”
She laughs, kissing him deeply again.
The juxtaposition of his lips against hers, and the first thing she thinks of is Erik and comparing the two kisses, is a thought that she chooses to ignore, it surely means nothing.
