Texas let out a shout, throwing the mayor's guest chair over her desk, right at the lynx, causing her to scream, falling onto her back!
She grabbed April's hand and leaped through the window with her, rolling down the roof and both dropping into the street.
"Glad I recognized that look, sheriff! What now?" April panted.
"Now you both stand still while I flatten your sorry asses!" Came the bellow of the new sheriff in town, Georgia, who came barreling towards them, nostrils flaring as she launched herself into the air, seeming intent on bellyflopping on the two!
