Will lands a kick

Will was being pulled higher and higher and he knew he wasn't long for this world. With one final **** act, he kicked at the spider with all of his might. Luck would see his heel land true, right in one the horrid creature's eyes.

The creature shrieked out in pain and dropped Will. Luckily, the spider had freed his arms while trying to cocoon him, which allowed him to slow his descent. When he landed he braced himself for the pain from the fall but none came. It seems that the gift from the giants had payed off once more in his favor.

He went for his sword, but He couldn't find it. Had it fallen in the conflict? All he knew was he was unable to find it at all. With nothing else he could do, he ran. The webs kept him from making his full stride but he was able to make it out of the dark place.
