Will finds the Rose Wall

Will passed on beyond the Giants, relieved to escape with his life. Their mention of a dragon had him nervous, but he was confident he could nick enough treasure to make this trip worthwhile without dealing with that lizard.

The Giants' gift was a little uncomfortable, but Will could find no way to remove it. Besides, if it did have some sort of magical protection, he'd be a fool to discard such an advantage.

After a time, he came across what first seemed to be a great wall. But as he got closer, he saw that it was an immense hedge that seemed to be a single rose bush. Sunlight seemed to inflame the vibrant red flowers and also glinted off the myriad thorns. They were at least an inch long and seemed almost to sway towards him as he approached. But surely that was just his imagination?

The Rose Wall was at least 10 feet high and stretched into the darkness of the forest that surrounded the path. But it seemed only a few inches thick; he could see glimpses of the trail beyond it.
