Wild Bill

“Wild Bill!” Sean cried out as he stood on the front steps of the house with Ben. As he stared out among the small sea of parked cars in the half circle drive he saw the girl he’d been waiting all night for.

Billie Harrington had always had a tomboyish look to her and tonight was no different. Her strawberry blonde hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail. She wore jeans and a t-shirt that bore the logo of some rock band that Sean had never heard off. Her average height and slender build were hidden somewhat beneath the baggy clothes as she approached. She seemed unassuming to Sean, but he had to remind himself that this was a girl who had drank him under a table numerous times already.

“Sean. Always good to see you.” She said with a wry smile. “Benny. Good to see you too.” She came forward and gave Ben a large hug that he awkwardly returned.

“Wild Bill I’d love to grab a beer and catch up, but I unfortunately have a time crunch and need your help.” Sean said grabbing Billie by a shoulder.

“See? And here I thought you just wanted me to come over cause I’m fun to be around.” Laughed the blonde.

“Actually that’s exactly why you’re here.” Sean grinned. “Remember that time that I bailed you out of jail in Florida and you said you owed me? I need to call in that favor.”

“Oh yeah? And what’s that?”

“I need you. Without asking any questions. To strip naked, run thru the party, and jump into the pool.”

“That’s it?” Billie said with a quizzical look and grabbed at the bottom of her shirt.
