Why are Humans Hypersexual?

Throughout human history, many scientists, philosophers and religious scholars have tried to come up with an explanation for why we are the way we are in this reality.

According to Judaism and Christianity, it all goes back to Adam & Eve committing the original sin by eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge.
