Why are Humans Hypersexual?

Throughout human history, many philosophers, faiths & religions have tried to come up with an explanation. According to Judeo-Christian belief, it all goes back to God punishing Adam & Eve for them committing the original sin by eating the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge.

You see unlike many pagan faiths which see their gods as being just as horny as them, in the Abrahamic faiths and other monotheistic religions like Zoroastrianism, it's believed that God is so powerful & perfect that he is above sex. We're not only made in His image but originally we were asexual like Him too. But once man fell that no longer became the case. Women's need to consume semen and men's constant need to nut in order to live were also just punishments from God since Eve was the one who the serpent tempted with the fruit first and Adam - being both the man & her husband - should've known better.
