Why a Mario Party of course!

“Okay for those of you who are unfamiliar, the Gardner family imported a method of conflict resolution from Sarasaland for when neither side could compromise on something,” you address your harem on the front steps of the guest house. They had worked hard with the Toads all morning to get the house ready and bring your stuff over and so you decided to include them in what is coming.

“The games,” Daisy announced to the crowd. Shampoo and a couple others gave rapt attention to Daisy; Shampoo has already given Daisy a speech about her assets and such. You suspect Shampoo is trying to get in good with her. “Though Prime World calls them the Mario Party, it's a long tradition in my world though it's mostly for fun for like the past hundred years I think. Anyways, we are going to use them to help resolve some of Starfire and Aelita’s conflicts over the wedding.”

“Okay but why are we out here?” Katara asked from her seat with Marinette and Gaige. Some of the harem looked eager for these games while others were like Katara and unsure.

“Well due to both Aelita and Starfire’s… conditions,” you explained, using your words wisely.

“They’re knocked up!” Shouted Laura as she swirled a drink she had.

“Yeah,” you deadpan. “Obviously. Due to their pregnancy, they can’t participate directly. It wouldn’t be safe since we are playing Mario Party in real life. Lots of potential bumps and injuries.” You then clap your hands and flash the crowd a wide smile. “So to say sorry for going missing and as thanks for getting my stuff over here so fast. Why don’t we spend the rest of the day playing tournament style and having fun.”

“My subscribers will love this,” Gaige exclaimed as she took out her phone and started sending messages out on her social media.

“I wonder how different this would be to WHOOP training,” Alex wondered out loud. “And 3S training.”

“I’m ready to see what they can do,” Ranko remarked as she eyed up several of her harem sisters. Several of them were eyeing each other, some likely eager to meet them on even fields and others curious on how the games could affect the match ups.

“Those who want to participate, split up into two teams, one for Aelita and the other for Starfire,” you order and point them to two tables that some Toads were setting up with pink and purple team shirts.

“Finally some of our requests will get finalized,” Aelita sighed as she hugged your side.

“Yes, may the best champions win,” Starfire said as she hugged your other side.

“We have a lot of stuff to decide,” Daisy sighed as a Toad passed her a scroll. She flicked the scroll open and the scroll unfurled until it reached the ground and bounced a couple times. “Aelita and Starfire, sweeties, do you think you should maybe get your teams settled. I wouldn’t want to end up with unfair matchups and have to give up on the flower arrangements.” Aelita and Starfire looked at each other and quickly moved to the tables. Aelita was quickly helped by Ahsoka and Diana.

“Good job suggesting the compromise, hopefully it reminds them that compromise is an option,” Daisy whispered to you.

“Good job suggesting the games, it should keep them occupied while the surprises are getting set up,” you whisper back.

“You sure you aren’t going to stay for bachelorette parties and the surprises you set up so long ago,” Daisy asks you as the two of you observe the teams getting into a semi organized mix. Erza was going to Starfire’s team while Mirajane (who has already restarted her rivalry with Erza this morning) went to Aelita’s team. Mirajane was already much happier now that Phil is out of the way.

“No, I think I shouldn’t be there, with what I’m sure Poppy, Jane and the others are planning, I don’t think I should be around,” you grimace, you just got back and you have to leave them for a few hours tonight. “Plus, I think the surprises should see them first before we meet.”

“Are you going to that auction Oliver mentioned?” Daisy asked, recalling what your brother Oliver brought up after your full siblings arrived last night to celebrate your return. Though you weren’t in a celebratory mode with all that happened. Your siblings still mentioned things they had planned to do before the wedding if I wanted to join them.

“Yeah, some of the characters listed might help with the Blackfire situation,” you say with a smirk. “Psychics and such, you know.”

“How is Pixel taking care of her by the way? I haven’t had the chance to check with poor Blackfire,” Daisy says.

“Pixel is trying to help with her issues,” you replied.

“Purrrr Purloin!” Blackfire hisses at Pixel in a padded and reinforced room. Blackfire was immediately hit with a spray of water from the bottle floating by a smirking Pixel.

“Ki Ki Ki,” Pixel giggles as she throws a yarn ball at her and watches her give chase.

“Loin loin!” Blackfire yowled as another jumped on the ball of yarn.

“Glam Gla Meow!” Gloated Blake Belladonna who was wearing kitty lingerie.

“They will probably be fine,” you shrug as it looks like the teams were finally set up. You walk over and speak, “It looks like everyone who wants to join has a team. Follow me to the carts to take us to the first game.”
