Why They Are Here

On the way back inside I called out “Get you two a beer?”

Colin accepted as did Darlene. So I trotted off to the kitchen returning with three unopened twist top bottles and two coasters, after all the place wasn’t a total pigsty considering how often I got around to cleaning up after myself.

I just gave the bottles and coaster out to them when Colin started in with the full reason behind their presence here.

“So dad, as you probably know Covid has shut everything down, including the university. Instead of housing us in the dorms, the dean chose to send all out of province students back to where they came from, claiming that SFU couldn’t afford the living expenses of them on campus. At first I thought that I would just come home by then Darlene told me that her parents were on a cruise in the Caribbean so she had nowhere to go since her parents locked their place up like a fortress!”

Colin paused to hold Darlene’s hand before continuing. “So I invited her along even though she protested that you might not want to be bothered with a non-family member basically sharing your house!”

I was going to say that she was thinking right when I noticed that she removed her coat and the SFU t-shirt she had on was jutting out in the right places on her upper torso. Damn girl had a rack on her that would definitely be a game changer if i was to be cooped up with only Colin. He might be my son, but he didn’t do anything for me if you know what I meant.

Then Darlene spoke up and definitely changed my mind and gave me a partial erection at the same time.

“Colin’s too nice to ask, so I will Mr. Cartier. Is it alright if I stay here until we can return to SFU and resume our studies?”

I really didn’t think she was subconsciously trying to flirt with me so I would say yes but I didn’t fail to notice the slight jutting out of her tits, the flipping of her dark hair, as if to get it out of her eyes and the coy smile that came over her lips. I have to say Darlene was really pretty and who knows what I might see before she left my house.

“I have always said that Colin and his friends were always welcomed in this house when his mother, god rest her soul was alive and that hasn’t changed with her ****. So sure Miss…?”

“Oh sorry I forgot to introduce myself, Darlene, Darlene Patterson but many on SFU campus nicknamed me DP for short!”

Now that brought a whole new line of questions to my mind. Was it just for her name or did she allow herself to be DP'ed?

“Well, Miss Patterson, feel free to consider this your home for as long as you need a place to stay!”

Both Colin and Darlene rewarded that with a beaming smile from them. Darlene lasted longer than Colin’s as she looked me up and down. Now why would she do that, since I thought that she and Colin were boy/girl friends. Oh well I would find out more about their relationship in the near future.
