"Good. You see, just the other day, I came into possession of a rare and valuable artifact. As luck would have it, a thief stole it from me. He ran off to the east, heading into a nearby cave. I'm sure it's completely harmless, but the robber himself might be dangerous. Also, there are the creatures out there to wonder about. But what say you? Will you help an old man?"
