Why Not?

I watched as she stood on her tippy toes. Only to come up short. She growled and began to jump up to reach the desired height.

Fuck it, I deal with the consequences later.

I walked up behind her and put my hands on her waist,”J-Johnny?! What are you-”

“On the count of three,” I whispered into her ear as I secured my grip on her waist. She shuddered and melted in my grasp, then shuttered again.

“One…Two...Three!”I hoisted her up, watching as she softly put the plate inside the cabinet. Putting her down I grinned. “See? That wasn't so bad.”

Winnie didn’t reply, instead panting heavily.

“Uh, Winnie...you okay?”

I turned to face her, she was sweating, and when she looked at me, her eyes were a tenge yellow, a feral hungry glint to them...One I'm very familiar with.

"Bathroom..." she muttered

"What?"

"Wheres the bathroom!"

"...Upstairs down the hall on the left."

She bolted without a 'thanks', leaving me to ponder what had happened.

I looked outside to see the sun starting to set, she did stay in that room most of the day....I wonder what she was doing in there.

I walked up the stairs and heard a moaning sound emit from the Bathroom. I checked the door.

Unlocked.

It's as if she wants me to see her...It's my fault that she's like this. The least I can do is give her support.
