Why Did She Obey?

"Thank you, Master." Joy gasps softly. There is a small hint of mewl in her voice. "May I resume making Breakfast?"

"Yes." You say with a sigh. It seems true. She really will obey whatever command you give her without the slight hint of resistance. But...

"You're aware you're doing what I tell you, right?" You ask. "Like, you know what just happened.

"Yeah. Yeah, I am. You just had me pinch myself..." She puts a finger to her lips. At once she's like the normal Joy again. "It's really strange though. I don't mean to do any of it. You just spoke and I acted"

Hrmm. Even more curious.

"Joy. Lick your knife seductively."

"Of course, Master!" Your wife exclaims. She holds up the knife and slowly runs her tongue up the length of it, as though she were practicing for the bedroom later. Though, she's never had that kind of control over her tounge before.

"Okay. So I gave you another order. Can you tell me what you felt when you heard that? Like, did your body move on its own?"

"I guess I'd say it just felt like...like I had ****. It wasn't like my arm moved by itself or anything. It's just when you command me anything, that's that. I have no say in the matter."

"...After all, you're my owner." She says it a strange sing-song tone. It's still Joy, but it's a Joy lost in another world. "My purpose is to be an object of your will."

That one was concerning. You wrap your arms around her waist.

"Are you sure you're alright?" You ask. "I mean, where did that idea come from?"

"I don't know." She shrugs her shoulders. "I know that we're husband and wife. And that we're supposed to be an equal partnership. At least, I know that intellectually. But, when I look at you, or hear you, or even think about you, I just go all bubbly." As if to demonstrate, her voice again took on the vacantly pleased tone. "I know that no matter what I might think, you're my Owner. You're my Master. My purpose is to do whatever you desire. The happiness of my soul is your pleasure..."
