Whoa, that's a cool mansion. Can I take a look?

The mansion was much, much larger than James had expected.

His jaw dropped open as he stepped out of the automobile car.

It was two stories tall—which was already something beyond his imagination, and that's not even considering its horizontal length or the wide garden at the front.

"Woah, this house is huge!"

Asuna exclaimed. Her voice was filled with excitment as she looked up the mansion with sparking eyes.

Next to her, Karin was silently admiring the household herself. She had only ever seen building of this size as a school or a dormitory, not as a private residence.

Even Ellen let out a small exclamation, although her attention was more tailored to the pool located at the far right of the house.

Her shark tail waggled in excitement, until she realized James staring at her.

"What are you looking at?"

Ellen snapped with a small blush on her face. The shark maid barred her famgs and quickly hugged her own tail.

"Nothing."

James quickly averted his gaze, barely managing to hold back a smirk.

On the other hand, Lalter and Rem's reaction was less dynamic.

Lalter skimmed over the entire household in a few seconds, then turned away without showing any interest.

Rem, on the other hand, took a close look on the mansion as if she was scanning the scenery before painting a picture of it.

Finally, the blue-haired maid nodded to herself with a small huff of confidence, and turned to James.

"Master, may I lead the tour around the house? I'm used to manners like this from my original world."

"Yeah, sure."

With the permission given, Rem eagerly stepped forward and led everyone into the mansion.

As soon as they pushed the huge front door aside, a fancy main hall with several branching pathways greeted them.

"Left, right, front, up left, up right and down...this place is going to be a maze, isn't it?"

Karin muttered.

"You'll get used to it. It's always the first few days."

Rem said casually as she expertly took a left turn on the first floor.

"Woah, this feels like an hotel!"

Asuna exclaimed.

Indeed, the left wing of the 1st floor was filled with multiple bedrooms on either side.

Rem opened every door she passed, letting the others following behind to take a look inside the room.

The rooms had a simple, yet comfy structure. It had a bed, a TV, a small table, a closet and a bathroom.

It may not seem much compared to the mansion, but the room was already far better than James's previous entire living space.

The idea made him snort through his nose.

"Seems like its one person per room."

Ellen commented.

"Yes. This would be our rooms where the characters stay."

Rem said, then she glanced over her shoulder at James.

"Of course, that's if you are okay with it, Master. If you have any alternative uses in mind, let me know."

"I'm fine with it."

"Thank you, Master."

Rem replied with a smile.

After they reached the end of the left hallway, they checked out the front direction behind the stairs heading up.

"Is this the dinning hall?"

James guessed.

Indeed, there was a huge room with tables and chairs ready to take in dozens of guests if needed.

When they walked even deeper, there was also a large kitchen equipped with stoves, ovens, sinks and even refrigerators prepared to support any type of meal if the order came.

Again, Rem checked over each appliances and made sure everything was working well and proper.

"We'll need to buy some food for tonight. Since there are 8 of us, we'll have to buy groceries in bulks.

If there is anything you want to eat—"

"Meat."

Everyone turned around to the speaker.

"...what? I like meat."

Lalter demanded, despite the steadily reddening face.

After few awkward seconds, they just decided to continue the tour. Everyone had collectively agreed to keep their thought inside their head.

'Latler has a childish taste, doesn't she?'

"Woah, look at the size of the bath!"

Ellen's excited voice echoed throughout the large bathing room.

Her thick shark tail waggled akin to a dog as she stared at the large bathhouse.

"Where do they get water to fill this thing?"

James asked outloud, dipping a hand into the warm water in amazement.

Back in his old apartment, it was a miracle if he could have a quick 5-minute shower under warm water.

The more he looked around the mansion, the more unreal it felt that everything he saw was his.

"Wow, there's a swimming pool deeper inside!"

Asuna called out from the hallway, who had scouted ahead with Karin.

"No way!"

Ellen immediatly leaped over to the sound of her voice and vanished, leaving her master behind two other girls.

"Ah...maybe we should continue the tour later?"

Rem suggested with a troubled smile.

"Or you can make them come to you, Master."

Lalter suggested, although she seemed quite interested in warm baths as well.

"Eh, let them have their fun. I doubt there is something fancy like this on the second floor, anyway."

James said. He didn't want to be a mood killer when they were having such fun.

As a result, only Rem, Lalter and James headed upstairs to check out on the second floor.

On the left, there was a huge library and a theater.

"Interesting. We can learn so much about this world by either reading about them, or watching them on a screen."

Lalter said. She picked up a couple of history books and tucked them in next to her side.

"And I can learn stuffs about your worlds."

James agreed.

It had always bothered him that he had no idea about where his characters came from.

If they were **** to live on his world from now on, the least he could do was learn about their world and help them adapt a little easier.

Even if the verious mods and chips installed seemed to do a fairly good job, knowing about their past might help him open the hearts of more hostile maids...or maid, in his case.

On the right, there was the Master bedroom where James would sleep.

It was at least three-times larger than the maid's room on the first floor with bigger beds, bigger TV, bigger bathroom, etc.

"Whoa, this is amazing!"

James eagerly stepped in to take a closer look...but then, he realized neither of his accompanied characters followed behind.

""...!""

Both Lalter and Rem stood frozen in place. They were blushing furiously, and their body trembled uncontrollably.

"Is there something wrong?"

James asked, confused.

Lalter heavily opened her mouth.

"Th-the scent..."

"Scent?"

James sniffed the air. He couldn't notice anything particularly different.

Rem's nose twitched in the air. As an Oni race, she could pick up aromas with much more precision than others.

"...I-it seems like, the master bedroom is layered with Aphrodisiac air freshener for characters only.

M-master, I'd suggest you open the windows for ventilation...but before that..."

Both Rem and Lalter stepped forward with flushed faces. Their fingers fiddled with the edge of their clothes, imminent to taking them off.

"Uh..."

James gulped as the two aroused women came closer to him.
