A couple of minutes later, Lionel's assistant informed him Julius was back on the line. He picked up right away.

"You need a little Dawgz Bone magic up on your precious little country gal? I think we can come to an understanding." Julius paused. "Hey, don't your agency also have that sweet teen dream from Australia?"

Lionel mentally ran through his talent roster, and concluded he must have meant young Elizabeth Bucke. "Lizzie Brizzie?"

"Yeah, how about we bring her up on stage, too? Two-for-one style?"

"Uh, she's a pop star," Lionel hemmed, not adding that the agency had been planning to roll her out in America, on their own timetable, in the next fiscal quarter. "And she's eighteen! Besides, she's kind of unknown over here."

"Well, my little daughter likes her, so maybe I can help launch her here in America... she probably needs some of that diversity shit, too, right?"

"Okay, let me try to make this happen," Lionel replied and hung up.
