While she slept

A few nights before Jean was possessed, Lisa turned off her lamp after finishing her book, and went to bed, expecting to be filled with blissful, sweet dreams. As a pyro abyss mage slowly approached her window, that possibility went up in smoke.

The Abyss mage went inside her room by teleporting, before magicking Lisa's blanket off her body. Due to the residual heat off the mage at a minor distance, Lisa still felt comfortable. The abyss mage started dancing about, as it made a funnel of mana into Lisa's body. She started convulsing and grunting as something slipped its way into her body, but was soon still as the abyss mage went inside her body.

Inside her body, the Abyss mage saw the mana leading to Lisa's head. As it tried approaching the mana, it felt a zap, and fell against the floor of wherever it was. Apparently, Lisa's soul was fighting back! But it was only her soul versus the abyss mage's full potential.
