Miles away from any sort of civilization, a certain red Knightmare Frame had just touched down on the shores of a tropical island. With its massive crimson tungsten legs kneeling down into the soft white sand, the orange cockpit which rested behind its head opened up to let out the pilot inside.
Kallen exited the Guren SEITEN and landed on the beach with a great deal of annoyance. She had been scouting around the ocean waters near Japan and had been diverted off-course due to an unexpected storm which had disabled her radar and communication systems. To make matters worse; her Energy Filler had not been fully charged since her last patrol and manuevering through the storm had used up more power than she cared to expend. So, here she was stuck on some remote island with her Knightmare completely drained and no apparent way back to the mainland.
Though she hated having to leave the Guren behind, Kallen knew she had to find a way to contact Ohgi and the Black Knights to arrange an extraction for her and her Knightmare Frame.
Venturing into the jungle, Kallen scanned her environment for any sort of a place that looked like it had any kind of communications equipment. Since the Zero Requiem, she didn't have to be on the lookout for any Britannian soldiers anymore, but that didn't mean that weren't any other potential threats around that could do her harm. The ace pilot of the Black Knights continued her walk with utmost caution.
A little further into her jungle expedition, Kallen stumbled upon an unexpected, but beautiful sight; a large waterfall was cascading into a sizable pool of fresh water. Its surface glistened with sunlight shining down through a large break in the trees which spanned the entire area surrounding the pool.
Kallen was captivated by the sight of this. The water looked so clear and refreshing... As she gazed as it, she also felt how sweaty she was after spending several strenuous hours in her pilot suit. She could certainly use a bath right now! But Kallen hesitated. She still didn't know enough about where she was and someone could happen upon her!
