When one door closes another one opens

One night, 2 weeks after my awakening, I tried to sleep, but the nurses had left the door of my room open, so I heard all the noise in the hallways. Angry, because of how powerless I felt, I looked at the door and wished I could just shut it close. Right when I had that thought, the door moved a little forward to the closing state. I blinked, did that just happen? Did I do that? No, I didn't, I couldn’t have, It was the wind or something. But what wind was there inside of a building? I looked at the door and thought: Close a little further? And yes, to my surprise the door moved a little further away from the wall.

I realized my mouth was hanging open. Quickly I looked around to see if anyone was trolling me, but no, I was alone. Okay, I thought, the final test. I looked at the door and thought: Close. Slowly, but steadily the door moved to his frame and I heard the doorknob click. Un fucking believable. Completely awake I looked at the door and wondered if I could open it again. Slowly and with my thoughts focused on the door, the door started to open again. Real slow, inch by inch it took its path until it was fully open again.
