When in Rome

“I’m not sure what you have in mind, Mel but I’m dying to find out!” you say.

“Yeah, Mel, what exactly did you have in mind?” asks Matt.

“Well, we all played pretty well on the front nine. I was thinking we could make a little bet for the back nine.”

“What kind of bet, Mel?” asks Matt.

“Yeah, what type of bet are we talking? you ask.

“Low score wins,” says Mel. “Matt vs Ryan.”

“I’m not sure it’s really fair seeing how Matt played college golf and I’m lucky to get out here a couple times each month.” you say.

“Where’s your sense of adventure?” she asks.

With that, the challenge is on. “Alright,” you say. “What are the stakes?”

Sarah proceeds to reach down her shirt and take off the necklace putting Matt’s key on full display. She says, “It’s really simple… If Matt wins he gets his key back for tonight and can really enjoy himself!” You can see his eyes light up a bit at this thought.

“And if I win?” you ask.

“If you win…” she says while reaching up her skirt. As she tosses you her pink thong she says, “If you win then you get to keep my pretty pink thong and can enjoy the rest of my pink collection later! So, what do you boys think?”

You look to Matt and realize this must not be anything new for him. He looks to you and has no idea if you are game for this, you are married after all. Without further hesitation, you say, “I’m game if he’s game.”

Matt smiles and says, “this is an offer too good to refuse. I’m in!”

You both tee off and hit great shots down the middle. You get in your carts and the back nine is under way.
