When Magic Collides

It had been a strangely quiet night but Joyce appreciated that, her job wasn't stressful per se but still, after a long day it was nice to unwind in peace and quiet. Although Buffy being out and about this late at night without even checking in? That did worry her a bit. However she knew it was likely that Buffy was out and about with Xander and Willow doing whatever it was they did when they were together. She probably should be worried about the teenage boy spending so much time alone with Buffy and Willow but it was obvious that Xander was harmless.

Joyce snorted.

Buffy should be so lucky as to have a boyfriend as devoted as Xander. Instead Joyce knew her daughter was mooning over that college boy she was getting 'tutoring' from. What was his name? Angel? Ugh. Joyce rolled her eyes. That was heart break waiting to happen.

Not that there wasn't a lot of that already going around. Buffy had lamented the spectacular crash and burn of Xander's relationship with Cordelia. Dumped during the middle of the Valentine's dance, after giving that very nice piece of jewelry? Cordelia was truly a heartless bitch.

Joyce sniffed as she considered the desert that was her own romantic life. Outside of one man- Ted, and had't that ended horribly- she hadn't even had so much as a side look from anyone since her divorce. Well, except for Xander giving her the occasional surreptitious look when he thought no one was paying any attention. And while that was nice, it was a hormone filled teenage boy who would get hard looking at anything with boobs. And she refused to be the stereotypical California cougar who was fucking a teenage boy.

Even though it was sounding better and better as the days went buy with only her vibrator for company.

Joyce looked at the ring on her finger. If it really was a magic ring that made her word law then she was mighty tempted to make herself the perfect boyfriend. Joyce let her hand drop, that was ridiculous, tho, there was no such thing as magic or magic rings. She was getting a bit too **** if she was willing to entertain fairy tales.

A sudden pounding at the front door broke Joyce from her depressing reveries. Getting up and answering the door she found a very agitated Xander and Cordelia on her front step looking around as if they were being hunted like animals. And as she laid on Xander Joyce, unbeknownst to her fell, under the sway of the love spell that Xander had cast the day before. The magic quickly working on her, making her love Xander Harris more than anything else in the world. Joyce found her breath catching in her throat. Xander looked particularly delicious tonight being slightly sweaty and disheveled. She'd never really noticed exactly how handsome the boy was.

Apparently the two were so upset that they couldn't even be bothered with basic civility as they stormed past Joyce into her house and slammed the door shut. Joyce was mildly perturbed at that. Xander was welcome, Xander was always welcome in her home. Cordelia was not, especially with how she had treated Xander recently. She had been his girlfriend, did she know how lucky she was?

"Wh-what's going on?" Joyce finally managed, "Xander?" she suppressed the dreamy sigh she wanted to let out when the boy looked at her.

"UH..." he looked at her then looked around, "It's kinda hard to explain."

"Well... where's Buffy?" Joyce asked.

Xander gaped for a second and then twirled his hand in a circle, "Uh, she's around." he then looked to Cordelia, "Check the doors. Make sure everything's-"

"Shut up." Cordelia snapped and walked away from them, stomping into the family room and flopping onto the couch. "This is all your fault."

Joyce gave Xander a worried look as the boy hunched his shoulders. He raised his head and gave her a sheepish smile and a shoulder shrug. Hyper aware as she was of the boy she loved so much Joyce realized that he had several scratches all over his neck. "Oooh, Xander, you're all scratched up."

She reached over and put her hand on his neck. Joyce kept from shuddering at the touch of his hot skin, so smooth and so warm beneath her finger tips. Oh, how she loved this boy. He was was just so... perfect.

"Um, yeah, things are a little crazy out there right now." Xander answered with a wince as she traced a particularly large scratch.

"Well, come up stairs to the bathroom and i'll take care of your... needs. I've got band aids and neosporin for your scratches." Joyce flushed. She had come almost too close to saying that she'd take care of his sexual needs in public. Theirs was a secret love. No one would understand their love. He was young and she was... older. But when they were in private... theirs was a torrid love affair.

Xander nodded his head and made an agreeing grunt. Joyce waved him on and Xander climbed the stairs in front of her, giving her an excellent view of his perfect ass. Joyce bit her bottom lip, all she had to do was wait until they were alone, then she and her perfect boy could express their love for one another.

She couldn't wait to tell Xander all the perverted thoughts she'd had about him today. Joyce was sure he was so going to make all her naughty dreams come true.
