What if I join the Justice League?

Zatanna, Wonder Woman, and I went to the Justice League meeting room, as we walked in, I could see a big round table with seats and all the main members of the league. I see Superman, Batman, The Flash, Aquaman, Detective Martian, and Green Lantern. It's crazy to think that I'm in the same room with the most powerful heroes on the whole planet; good thing that nobody seems to care about my presence here.

They say "Hi" to Diana as she takes her seat and soon they begin their meeting. Meanwhile, Zatanna and I are leaning against the wall watching this, so I ask her "So... What are they gonna discuss?" Zatanna then casually answers me "They mainly report to each other how their week went, to see if anything unusual happened, and talk about it so everyone is on the same page."

The meeting starts with Aquaman talking about a weapon that Black Manta was trying to steal and then Wonder Woman mentioning an encounter that she had with Cheetah. Flash, Detective Martian, and Green Lantern confirm that their week was pretty uneventful; however, Superman mentions his suspicions over some experiments from Lex Luthor. Then finally, Batman just reports about him and Zatanna doing some patrolling today; however, he doesn't mention anything about me, I guess it's because I ordered him to keep my powers a secret.

But while they're talking, I remember what Wonder Woman said earlier about my powers being dangerous in the wrong hands. Maybe I should get closer to them, after all, I still have no idea why I have these powers in the first place and it would be nice to have them help me; plus there are a lot of hot superheroines that are part of the Justice League, so that could help me to do more "practice" and in generally I could live a more exciting life.

Superman then says "Well, I guess that would conclude all the main reports for today..." I then abruptly say "Uh, actually I wanted to talk about something." As I say that, everyone curiously looks at me. The Flash asks "Hi... Who are you?" I then presented myself "My name is Jason, and I need help with an odd condition that I have... But y'all have to keep it a secret."

I then look at Batman and Zatanna, and then I ask them "Could you two explain to them what my power is exactly? Y'all told me is something related to cosmic energy." Both Zatanna and Batman nod, Batman says "Sure, what happened is that Jason found a mysterious purple gem that gave him a power connected with cosmic energy." Zatanna then reaffirms this as she explains "Basically, Jason's brain seems to be the key to this cosmic energy, and each branch of energy connects to every living being, it allows Jason to control other people."

Green Lantern then asks "So does he have mind control?" Wonder Woman then clarifies "Kinda, he tried to control me earlier but he could only make me follow orders for him, however, Jason said that he can't change personalities nor memories."

Then Detective Martian joined the conversation, he paid attention to everything said, so he asked me "So you can only control bodies?" I then answer "Kinda, but I also seem to have this passive effect that makes it so nobody cares about anything I do and everyone just seems to accept it easily." Detective Martian then says "Interesting, so when a target perceives your actions, you're able to make them not perceive you as a threat, with an advantage like that you could be deadly in battle."

Superman then looks at me, nods, and says "Indeed, you should consider becoming a hero Jason, a power like that could also bring a lot of good to this world." I then think about it and say "Well, funny that you mentioned it... Since I don't have a lot of experience with this power, and also I don't want an evil supervillain to somehow take away my power, I was wondering... Maybe I should be part of the Justice League."

They all look at me while they think about my suggestion, I think to myself "Maybe it's too soon to ask? Maybe my power isn't strong enough for them to suddenly accept-" But just as I thought about it, Batman immediately said, "Sure, we'll register you as an official member... Welcome to the Justice League." The Flash also casually says "Hey! Congrats! You even joined in less time than what it took me."

OK, that caught me by surprise, I thought I would need to justify and defend myself from them to accept me but this power seems to consistently make everything easier. Wonder Woman then curiously asks me "Are you sure you can handle it? As a member, you'll have to be extremely careful to keep your powers a secret while also weighting the responsibility of innocent lives constantly on your shoulders; one mistake could cost the life of others, including yours."

Damn, straight to the point, but still I say to Wonder Woman "I know it's not gonna be easy, but I always wanted to live to the limit and just do more with my life... I don't care if I die, I just want to live a life worth living." Everyone smiles at what I say and even Aquaman says "I like his attitude."

Hmm, I also think that maybe I should also mention something. I say "Oh and also... I'm kinda of a pervert... Well, I'M a pervert, so I'll sometimes use my power to have sexual activities with some of the superheroines and maybe some supervillains, if y'all don't mind..." A part of me is shitting in fear just at the idea of them suddenly snapping out of my hypnosis and either killing me or arresting me. Thankfully the only reactions I get are Batman saying "Okay?.. Sure." and The Flash saying "You do you, man."

Oh shit! This is gonna be great!

The meeting then finished, I also made sure to clarify to them that me being a member should be something extremely private so nobody outside of the Justice League knows anything about me. Everyone exits the meeting room and then Batman asks me "OK mister Sharp, before Zatanna takes you back to your home, I need to know if you have an alias." I then ask "Alias?" Batman then explains "Yes, you need an alias different from your legal name."

Oh shit, I think "Fuck! What should my superhero name be?" Hmm, Let's see... I have the power to control others, similar to hypnosis, I can't change their personality, but nobody minds anything I do and everyone obeys... I got it!

I tell Batman "How about 'Hypnoz'?" Batman then looks at me and asks "Hypnoz?" I then answer "Yeah, because it's like hypnosis... But not really." Batman then nods and says "I see... Well, welcome to the team Hypnoz." And thus, this is the start of my new life as a member of the Justice League.
