What does that mean

Xander looked at the short list of instructions and found himself stuck on that warning. Addictive. That was a word that caused him concern. It also made him question. Addictive to who?

Whom? Xander put the grammar aside as that wasn't his big problem.

Who got addicted? Did the person shot get addicted or did the shooter get addicted?

Xander wondered didn't addiction take time? And multiple uses? So why would he need to shoot someone multiple times with the bimbo ray?

Wait... did the bimbo ray wear off? Was it only good for 24 hours? 48 hours? A week? A month?

Or was it a warning about continually upping the levels? Start at one and it doesnt help so you keep upping the level of the ray. Until you just abandon lower levels entirely and stick to using 3, 4, or 5?

Or was it warning the owner of the ray gun that using it too much was habit forming? He could get it, that the idea of bimbofying all his problems away wasn't always the solution. It solved just some of his problems.

Xander sighed and furrowed his brow. Nothing but a short list of instructions and two brief warnings. Nothing that answered his questions. And the demon he had used to get the bimbo ray was gone as soon as he delivered it, so there was no one to ask.

"Great. Just great." He grumbled. The only way to know was to test it and take notes on what happened.
