What do you think about your character's nudity

"So," Greg began, his voice dropping to a hushed whisper, "there is one question I wanted to ask you. What do you think about your character's nudity?"

Ayumi's heart pounded wildly in her chest, but she managed to maintain a composed expression. "Oh, I think it's gonna be fun!" she lied, her voice betraying a hint of nervousness.

In truth, she wasn't comfortable with it at all. She was the type of girl to wear a modest one piece swimsuit instead of bikini. The one who would change under towel in women's changing room. She was insecure about her tiny body compared to other university students. She wouldn't look out of place in Japan, her shortness and slender frame with smaller boobs being an average body type, but here in America everything and everyone was larger. Ayumi sometimes though how would she be perceived if she has shown more of her body but she never acted on that thougth.

But she wanted to spend time with Greg so when she heard he wants to attend this casting, she tagged along. She didn't even read the script properly, just enough to know the selected lines.

"I mean, we're all grown-ups, right? So I don't see anything wrong with it."

Greg's eyes widened slightly, his gaze fixated on Ayumi's flushed face. "Wow, that's pretty bold of you," he said, his voice tinged with admiration. "I'm not sure if I could do something like that."

Ayumi shrugged casually, attempting to play down her discomfort. "I guess it's just part of Japanese culture. In onsen, you usually walk around naked so it's not unusual for me," she lied, her voice softening. "And honestly, I'm more embarrassed about playing a romantic interest than the nudity itself."

"I mean, it's hard enough to perform with opposite sex, but to be naked with him?" Ayumi sighed, her gaze drifting towards the stage. "I'm just worried that it'll be awkward. And I don't want to ruin the play because of my own insecurities."

Greg nodded sympathetically, his eyes filled with understanding. "I get it," he said, his voice soothing. "But you know what? I think you're going to surprise yourself."

Ayumi's breath caught in her throat, and she couldn't help but glance at Greg with warm gratitude. "Thanks," she managed to say, her voice cracking slightly. "I really appreciate your support."

Greg grinned sheepishly, his eyes dancing with excitement. "No problem," he replied, his voice low and reassuring. "We're in this together, right?"

Ayumi swallowed the lump in her throat and **** a confident smile. "Right," she said, her voice steady. "Let's make a great show together."

With renewed determination, Ayumi stood up and adjusted her clothes.
