What do we know about Hoofer?

“What happened with ol’ Hoofer and the younger bastard,” Laura asked you once everyone focused on that task. A couple of the girls went back to the kitchen for some snacks, as they have not had dinner yet and the meeting is running long.

“Well, today before I picked up some evidence characters from the police station, I was just dropping off some maids when I heard yelling from the customer side of things,” you explain between sips of your soda that Marinette passed you. “There is this asshole just tearing into the Ysolda on duty, like threatening to have her mounted on his wall which is just…intense. The younger Hoofer was there with his Rahne and pointed me out to the old guy.”

“He never leaves wolf girl behind,” Shampoo commented as she ate some dumplings.

“The old guy was demanding that Diana be returned before I ruined her? Something like that anyways,” you said, looking meaningfully at Diana. “It's about then that he mentioned spending more than a million dollars on you.”

“Do you know why you are worth that much? Wonder Women tend to be high end but unless you go down to the four digit ones, they are worth maybe a quarter million at the high end according to the rankings,” Katara asked, causing everyone to look at her in confusion.

“How do you know that?” Erza asked in confusion. Katara faces grew quickly flushed.

“W-well, a girl sometimes likes to know how much she’s liked,” Katara defends, embarrassed. “Kataras have been in the top fifty popular for the past few years and the site also included average prices.”

“I am going to need to spend more time showing you how much you are liked,” you flirted before getting back on topic. “Katara’s popularity aside, why are you worth so much Diana? Do you know?”

“I do not know, I remember waking up in a what I would call a lab room based on that show with the alche–sorry scientist, then being injected with something in my head and stomach before being put back in the pod,” Diana explained as she tried to remember. “I was so surprised and scared, I had just been walking to train with my mother when I was suddenly there. The next time I was out of the pod I was at the ranch and getting fitted for my harness and outfit.”

“Hmmm, what mods do you have,” Erza asked. “From the prices some of the commercials show, some mods are worth almost as much as some of my high end armors.”

“I do not know, no one told me.” Diana was uncomfortable at not knowing what mods might have altered her body.

“Larry, the guy who helped me buy you all, told me you had some kind of honeymoon mod package, a Flora brand I think,” you reply. Aelita and Gaige bring out their respective tablets and look up the Flora brand. The others and you finish up your snacks while you wait for them to finish their search.

“I found some references to the FLORA brand, it looks like a mod development company here in town. They seem to develop a lot of mods for both the Collins Chattel Palaces and this is a surprise, your dad’s companies,” Gaige said after some searching.

“That’s odd, I thought dad only used mods from his friend Roger’s company, Alterise,” you asked confused. When working in the breeding facilities and the various entertainment facilities your dad owned, you only saw Alterise mods used. Alterise created some of the best mods for fertility and beautification mods. You only met Roger when you were little though you did play a bit with his grandson Lester before the kid moved with his parents across the country.

“It looks like FLORA has a very sophisticated firewall and data protection, I can’t get past it,” Aelita said frustrated. “I can only get what they have on their public site and it's nothing useful.”

“Maybe my dad can tell us if he’s not too busy,” you say as you pull out your phone.
