What are Bulbasaur's attacks?

Professor Oak looks at you and says "It's all in the pokedex. Look it up now I'm busy. So off you go. Goodbye and good luck."
You walk away a short distance. Before releasing your Bulbasaur. You take one look at him and decide on a name "I will call you Tulip. How do you like like your new name?"
Tulip just looked back at you and shrugged. You check the Pokedex and discover Bulbasaurs have the Vine Whip attack. You decide to check it out.
You pick up several sticks and throw them in the air. Bulbasaur manages to hit half of them. So you pick up more sticks and spend the rest of the day with Tulip practicing his Vine Whip. He improves but you know he still needs a lot of work.
You take him home and show him to your parents.
Tomorrow you leave home and go in search of new pokemon.
