Your pokemon jouney begins

After leaving home you release Tulip and start his training. As you walk you throw more sticks in the air.

Tulip has greatly improved. When you see a mouse like animal run down out of a tree and colect some nuts from under a tree.

You check your pokedex and discover it is a Nidoran.

You tell Tulip to use tackle.

At the last moment Nidoran see him coming. Nidoran tries to dodge but Tulip hits him hard. While The Nidoran tries to recover. You have Tulip use vine whip.

Nidoran is completely stunned and you use a pokeball to catch him.

You hold your breath. Until the light on the ball tells you that Nidoran has given up and he is now yours.

Now you have two pokemon. You need at least one more before you can challenge a gym leader.

Plus they will need a lot more training to win.
