What about her Power Suit?

As much as she'd like to gear up before heading deeper into unknown territory Samus's power suit was currently undergoing repairs back on the ship, having been badly damaged at the end of her last adventure. That left Samus in her athletic, form-fitting zero-suit with her emergency pistol, the Paralyzer for protection. Besides, if she wanted to take advantage of the upgrades on display, she had to install them into the zero-suit. Without the use of her suit, these upgrade chips might be the best chance she has of preparing herself for any unexpected encounters during her tour of the station.

Samus turned her attention back to the options presented to her. "I notice that none of the upgrades listed include description of their precise effects. How can I be sure that I won't suffer any side effects?"

"I have tested many of my upgrades, and would be happy to tell you more if it is of interest, but the only way to figure out the effects of some of my more experimental upgrades are to try them for yourself."

"By the way, why did you send me your signal? This system isn't even labelled on the star charts."

"My files indicate that you have been known to survive seemingly impossible odds in your work as a bounty hunter. The data that I could receive from analyzing how my upgrades would perform under the conditions you face regularly is too compelling to ignore."

The AI's story seemed plausible so far, but there was still something unusual about the whole situation. The best outcome for this station would be for Samus to leave it in the hands of a group of scientists capable of responsibly guiding the AI's research, to make sure it's used for the benefit of all sentient life. She could search for potential candidates later, first she needed to make sure that the station was truly secure.

Before she made her way to the elevator to explore what lied ahead, one final question pulled at Samus. "I've noticed that many of your upgrades... they seem to be geared towards certain... sexual archetypes"

"My creators held the belief that sex was an important part of life, and that using science to explore your sexual fantasies is as valid of a motivation towards progress of any others. Are you intrigued? Do any of these upgrades speak to you? It is nothing to be ashamed of."
