"Oh, I suppose he'll find out about us eventually right?" Morgan shrugged then shook her head.

"I'll tell him." Jack offered. "He'll be mad but I'm not scared of him." Rachel and Morgan looked to Jack. "What? I'm not going to be mean about it, I'm just saying." He looked at them. "Okay I'll try to make it a point to be nice about it." They still stared at him. "I won't be confrontational either."

"And?" Rachel pushed him.

"...And if he gets mad I won't instigate a fight with him." Jack intoned.

"Thank you, Jack." Morgan smiled.

"Not like he could hurt me anyway." Jack mumbled under his breath.

"Jack!" Rachel swatted him.

"Ah! Okay-okay! Jesus." Jack rubbed his arm. "I'll be back later. You two... ...well you two record whatever you end up doing. I don't wanna miss a thing." He smirked.

"No promises!" Morgan laughed as she straddled Rachel's lap.

"Yeah, go on now. Leave us to our fun." Rachel winked up at Jack.

"Oh before I go..." Jack held out his hand. "He's probably going to want that back." He pointed Morgan's wedding band.

"...I... ...I hadn't thought about that." Morgan gasped.

Rachel held her breath as Morgan looked down at her finger, the ring Nelson had given sparkled brilliantly in the light. A memento of his love for her. As it fell into Jack's palm it was as if she was watching herself from outside her own body. It pained her momentarily but in the same way achy muscles feel after finally being able to rest. Jack's brow peaked in mild surprise.

"He should have it back." Morgan nodded, her eyes turning red before she looked away.

Rachel nodded her head at Jack who then turned, with ring in hand, towards the door. He left without another word. Morgan found her gazing being pulled back towards Rachel's, her hand holding onto her chin.

"It'll be okay." She smiled warmly. "It'll all be okay." Rachel wrapped her arms around Morgan and held her as she started to sob on her shoulder.
